Maine River and Ridge is a place for all outdoor enthusiasts to read about trips throughout Maine and beyond. Everything from exciting river  adventures to hiking the wilderness. The trips you will find here were personally experience by us and we offer up our opinions and thoughts for what they are worth. We found it extremely helpful to have a place where we could research potential trips and prepare ourselves prior to setting out on our adventures.

The site contains sections for researching adventures (River, Ridge, Gear, Blog) as well as some more personal perspectives on adventures that we have had over the years. This site will grow as we have more adventures and learn more things. Each section will help define what we found has worked well for us and what we recommend for certain adventures. You can also explore our photo and video galleries to check out some of the most beautiful places in Maine (or beyond) that you may or may not have heard of.
